The thousands of bricks are in place over in California at the new Legoland Hotel.  The 250-room hotel across from Legoland California opened its doors yesterday to its first guests.  A 400,000 brick dragon greets guests as they enter the hotel, and the check in lobby has lowered their desks to make kids feel right at home during check in.  The wall behind the check in counter is made up of over 6,000 LEGO mini-figures.

The rooms are divided into three themed levels, Pirate, Adventure, or Kingdom.  And your room is reached not by an ordinary elevator, but rather a “disco elevator”, complete with music, a disco ball and lights.
