Today was the grand opening ceremony for the new Atlantis exhibit at the Kennedy Space Center Visitors Complex. The $100 million dollar expansion houses the space shuttle Atlantis in its final resting place and is displayed at an angle resembling its rotation around earth.  The 90,000 square foot attraction broke ground in January of last year and and is the largest exhibit in the Visitors Center’s history.
