It looks like the gates of Kentucky Kingdom will finally be opening again next year.  A lot of improvement are coming to the park as well.  The park will be doubling the size of the Hurricane Bay waterpark.  A new roller coaster will also be added to the park for the parks grand re-opening next year as well.  The Thunder Road wooden coaster will also be reopening as well, along with many of the parks current attractions that have been sitting dormant for years.

As for the future of the park?  In 2015 the park will renovate the T2 coaster and then in 2016 they will convert the Twisted Twins coaster into a “into a much superior ride”.
