The park attendance report is out for 2012. Disney remains theme park king

The 2012 TEA / AECOM Global Attractions Attendance Report is out and Magic Kingdom saw 17.5 million guests through its gates last year, up 2.3%.  The biggest mover was Disney’s California Adventure, which saw Cars Land debut last year.  It saw a jump of 22.6%, with a total of 7.775 million guests through its gates last year.

Over at Universal in Hollywood, it saw a jump of 15%, with a total of 5.9 million guests through its gates.  The biggest decrease in attendance?  Knotts Berry Farm saw a drop of 4% to 3.5 million guests through its gates.
