Transformers: The Ride 3D grand opening video at Universal Studios Florida

Today Universal Orlando welcomed its latest attraction with a bang, some planes and some pyro.  Transformers: The Ride 3D opened to the public today during a grand opening celebration featuring celebrities from throughout the Transformers universe.  From Peter Cullen, who is the voice of Optimus Prime, to the man himself, executive producer of the Transformers movie franchise,  Steven Spielberg.  Michael Bay did not show up due to filming Transformers 4.

The red carpet was ‘rolled out’ and ready for the stars of the show, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.  Check out the video above for some highlights from the pre-show and the entire grand opening ceremony featuring a flyover from private jets and other highlights from the grand opening festivities.

Be sure to also check out our complete photo slideshow of the ride here.
