Gold Striker, the tallest and fastest wooden roller coaster in Northern California, was temporarily closed at California’s Great America to add a noise reducing tunnel a part of the coasters track.  The tunnel had to be be placed in coordanance with noise restrictions enforced by Prudential Real Estate, which own the neighborhoods near the park.

Thankfully, Gold Striker was back up and running for the busy 4th of July weekend.
