It looks like Jungle Cruise will be getting a “modern” makeover at Tokyo Disneyland.  The attraction will receive new effects, a musical score and even a special nighttime version of the attraction when the sun goes down.  A new section of the ride will even feature an encounter with one of the “animal spirit guardians.”

The update to the ride will cost 1.6 billion yen, or $16 million USD.  The ride is scheduled to close down in January of 2014 and re-open in the Fall of 2014
