Today marks the 30th anniversary of National Lampoon’s Vacation.  The iconic movie became a cult classic with the famous road trip across country to Wally World, an imaginative theme park portrayed at Six Flags Magic Mountain.  A family recently recreated that famous scene but instead of traveling to Wally World, traveled from their home in Canton, Georgia to the Walt Disney World Resort here in Orlando, Florida.

Steve and Lisa Griswold, and their two daughters, Amber and Brooke hoped in the custom-made station wagon and headed down to the Walt Disney Resort.  The car is about 2 weeks old and this is the first trip the family has taken in it.  From the iconic green pea paint job to the memorable wood paneling on the side of the station wagon, this station wagon was as closed to the original as you could get.

Fortunately though, this family made it to Walt Disney World and did not find it closed.
