Ever wanted to know what it felt like to drop off the side of a 41 story building? Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey has you covered next year with Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom.  This thing looks absolutely insane.  The ride will be strapped to the front of Kingda Ka, which is still currently the tallest coaster in the world at 456 feet.  Riders will be taken up 41 stories in gondola that carries eight riders in about 30 seconds, after that, it is all downhill, a 10 second freefall at 90 miles per hour, which will probably seem like an eternity.

The attraction will be taller than London’s Big Ben and twice as tall as the Statue of Liberty, according to Six Flags.  Rolling Thunder, Six Flags Great Adventure’s classic wooden roller coaster will be dismantled this autumn to make room for Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom.

The ride will make its debut next year when Six Flags Great Adventure opens for the 2014 season.
