Amusement Today announces the Golden Ticket winners for 2013

Every year the Amusement Today magazine announces the top theme park attractions and other awards to parks around the world.  This years event to announce the winners was held at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.  The event started with a performance by the street drum band Jump Street and followed with the announcement.

Millennium Force remains the number one steel coaster in the world followed by Bizarro at Six Flags New England and Expedition GeForce at Holiday Park in Germany.  Boulder Dash at Lake Coumpounce got the title for #1 wooden coaster in the world, followed by El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure and Phoenix at Knoebel’s to round out the top three.
