A father and his family from south Florida were visiting Orlando to attend the Blue Man Group show at Universal Citywalk.  The family was kicked out of Citywalk for a shirt the father was wearing that had the words ‘Police Street Crime Unit’ on it.  the father made an attempt to buy a new shirt when even more security surround the family and said that it did not matter and they had to leave the property.

A spokesperson for Universal Studios said that only authorized personnel are allowed to wear shirts and uniforms identifying them as police officers.

A refund of the Blue Man Group tickets they purchased was issued to the family.

Apparently there is more to this story than what the local news is reporting. The wife was apparently getting out of control and was part of them being kicked out.
