Japan wants to build the world's largest ferris wheel


The “Nippon Moon” ferris wheel is just a drawing right now, but the developers hope to have it one day built and have it dwarf its competitors, such as the London Eye and the Singapore Flyer.  Some reports are even claiming that the wheel could be as big as 800 feet tall.  The wheel would take 40 minutes to make one complete rotation. And the pods would feature integrated smart phone and tablet connectivity.

To avoid long lines if and when this giant wheel opens, developers have designed an online ticketing system to avoid long lines.
