HRP10The former Hard Rock Park/Freestyle Music Park which closed down twice, once under the name Hard Rock Park in 2008, and then again in 2009 has recently seen activity throughout the park.  The Zeppelin roller coaster came to life as the lights on the lift hill were turned on and flags were spotted at the top of the lift hill.

hristopher Glanville’s has a barber shop across the street and said “Midway last week, the lights came on on the Zeppelin roller coaster, and I’ve noticed a new flag hanging from the apex of the roller coaster, and I saw some people out there taking pictures midweek last week.”

People that live in the area hope something is done with the site soon because it is an eyesore and want it cleaned up.  Rumors have been swirling that the former Zeppelin coaster may be up for sale.  I guess we will have to wait and see what the fate is for the rest of the park.
