The Peabody duck march is coming to an end later this month

The Peabody ducks will soon be retiring to the animal farm where they were hatched.  The famous duck march ceremony that happens every morning at The Peabody is coming to an end.  The reason?  Hyatt has purchased The Peabody for $717 million and hopes to have it converted to the Hyatt Regency Orlando Convention Center  by the beginning of October.

The duck march has been occuring every morning since the hotels opening in 1986, and was originally started much earlier in the original Peabody in Memphis.

No word on when the duck march will end, but it will surely be before the end of this month, so head on over to the Peabody and witness this daily tradition before it is history.
