Bob Iger hints that 'Frozen' is not going anywhere anytime soon

Disney’s “Frozen” has now taken the crown as the highest grossing animated film of all time.  The movie has grossed $1,072.4 million worldwide, also making it one of the top 10 grossing films of all time.

Overseas, “Frozen” is the biggest animated Disney and/or Pixar film of all time in 27 territories, including Russia, China, and Brazil.

“Frozen” became available for purchase on Blu-ray/DVD on March 18 and sold 3.2 million copies on its first day alone. The film also became available digitally first on February 25.  In this new age of digital downloads, “Frozen” became the number one downloaded film of all time.

The “Frozen” soundtrack is also continuing to do quite well.  The platinum soundtrack has remained #1 on the Billboard Top 100 for 7 weeks.  The Oscar-winning song “Let it Go” has sold over 2.6 million copies and has been viewed more than 160 million times on YouTube.
