Walt Disney World announces new venues and name for Polynesian Resort

Walt Disney World has announced that the Polynesian Resort will be returning to its original 1971 name, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Also, Disney announced that a Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto will be making its debut at the resort as well, based on the one already at Disneyland in California.

The reosrts lobby will also be undergoing an extensive makeover, removing the famous indoor waterfall feature that the hotel is known for.
