It looks like Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi will be getting some serious TLC over the next several years.  This article explains what the Ferarri amusement park will be receiving, from new rides to enhancing existing ones and enhancing the retail experience around the park as well.

The park will add seven new rides to the, some of which will feature some sort of record, such as tallest, fastest, etc.  These new rides will increase the parks capacity by at least 40%.

Three of the already existing rides will undergo a major makeover as well.

The park has also announced that it will be introducing new street entertainment and new shows.

The park will also undergo a re-theming in certain areas to give the park a more “Italian” feel to it.

The article also mentions the addition of a new technology to reduce wait times, such as Fastpass and Quick Queue.

The expansion and remodeling has already begun and is expected to be complete in three years.  The first phase should be open and operational by 2015.
