Interactive Wands are coming to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

It looks like the long-rumored interactive wands are finally coming to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The plaque pictured above along with many others have begun popping up at Islands of Adventure inside Hogsmeade.  The majority of the plaques are placed in front of windows and other areas where the wands will interact with something.  Many of the windows within Hogsmeade have been covered lately receiving these enhancements.

There is no word on whether or not the new Diagon Alley expansion will feature interactive wands, but you can probably count on it.

This will be one of the first interactive elements within Universal Orlando Resort, as Walt Disney World already has a few, such as Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom and A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas, both which involve using some kind of interactive element, such as playing cards or a key card.
