The Ninja roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain had to be evacuated today after a tree branch fell on the ride causing the train to derail.  The incident happened just before 6PM earlier today at the park.  4 riders were treated for minor injuries at the park.

No word on exactly how many riders were aboard.  The train performed as designed and stopped when it was struck by the tree branch.

It was just reported that the rest of the passengers aboard the ride were evacuated safely.

Ninja opened up at Six Flags Magic Mountain back in 1988.
