Apple Pay is coming to the Walt Disney World Resort 1


Apple announced the iPhone 6 yesterday, and with it Apple is finally including NFC technology allowing iPhone customers to pay via their phone with their debit/credit cards.

One of the companies announced as a partner with Apple Pay was Disney.  With this new technology coming to Walt Disney World, guests at the parks will be able to use their phones to pay for merchandise, food and more.

“Apple Pay makes shopping fast and easy for guests and simplifies the check-out process for our cast members,” a Walt Disney Co. spokesperson said. “Our guests are going to love the convenience of Apple Pay, which will bring an easy, secure and private way to make purchases at Disney Store and Walt Disney World Resort.”

Apple Pay will support debit and credit cards from the following companies:  American Express, MasterCard and Visa.


Apple and Disney will also be releasing the classic Mickey Mouse watch face for their also newly announced Apple Watch.
