“The Festival of The Lion King” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom celebrates 1 Million guests

Since moving to its new theater in the Harambe Theatre this past June, “The Festival of The Lion King” has welcomed 1 million guests through its doors.

The LePage Family from Colorado Springs, CO, were the 1 millionth family to pass through its doors.  The family got front row seats for their showing and received a special meet and greet with the cast of the show afterwards.

“The Festival of The Lion King” had to relocate from its original location at Camp Minnie-Mickey since 1998 to its new home in the Harambe Theatre to make way for the new Avatar-land coming in the near future to the park.
