Universal has removed one of the attractions at this years Halloween Horror Nights.  The “sacrifice” took place in the Bayou of Blood voodoo-themed scarezone located inside the park.  The ‘Voodoo Queen’ would choose a victim to “sacrifice” in front of the crowd.

Universal Orlando did not give any reason for the removal of the scene other than it was a “creative decision.”

Many believe that Universal decided to remove the sacrifice scene due to the recent ISIS beheadings overseas.  Busch Gardens recently removed all decapitated head props from their annual Howl-O-Scream event due to backlash from guests.

Halloween Horror Nights 24 continues this weekend on select dates through November 1.
