We all know the iconic Mickey Mouse Sorcerer hat that has been an “eye sore” to many Disney enthusiasts for years.  The hat was installed back in 2001 as part of the 100 Years of Magic celebration.  The hat has served as a backdrop for many events held at the park throughout the years, including Disney Channel Rocks!

But a recent brochure that has popped up in hotels and other areas around Orlando tells a different story.  The brochure shows a map of Hollywood Studios without the iconic Sorcerer Mickey hat at the end of Hollywood Boulevard.  That hat missing is not the only thing wrong with the map.  The Backlot Tour is still on the map, which has closed recently.  The brochure also has a Magic Kingdom map showing off the new expanded hub in front of the Cinderella castle, which is still currently under construction.

So could the Sorcerer Mickey hat finally be removed after more than 10 years and return Hollywood Boulevard to its former glory?  Or could this just be a simple misprint?  After-all, Hollywood Studios is rumored to be getting some major remodeling  and additions soon.

Do you think the hat should stay or go?
