Guests injured at Cabana Bay Beach Resort at Universal Orlando

Two guests staying at Universal Orlando’s newest resort, the Cabana Bay Beach Resort were injured Tuesday morning when a  hot water line burst causing an evacuation of part of the hotel.

A hot water line between the first two floors burst causing minor flooding.  Some guests were treated for burns on their feet at Dr. Phillips Hospital.

Guests that were affected by the flooding were escorted safely to another area of the resort.

Universal employees are working to repair the hot water line that burst at this time.
