The holiday season is one of the most festive times of years at local theme parks, and Busch Gardens Williamsburg is going to kick off their Christmas Town festivities in a big way.  The park is inviting guests out for their annual tree lighting ceremony.

The event will take place at 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 21 in the Germany section of the park.

Also kicking off that night is the all-new Scrooge No More!, presented at the park’s Globe Theatre.  This all-new production tells the story of Scrooge as he is swept away by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.

The park is also asking guests to bring an unwrapped toy during the days of Nov. 21 through Dec. 14 for the Hampton Roads Toys for Tots chapter.  Busch Gardens will donate $5,000 in toys to the Toys for Tots toy drive as well.

Guests can experience this and more with a $32 Christmas Town Fun Card that offers unlimited admission for the 2014 Christmas season.
