**UPDATE* Fire breaks out on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at the Magic Kingdom

**UPDATE**  The fire that broke out last night on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was in fact fireworks fallout from Wishes. The ride reopened later that night after the ride was deemed safe for guests.

Statement from Reedy Creek Fire:

“We believe fireworks fell from the Magic Kingdom fireworks show and the ash landed at the top of the attraction, catching the fake grass on fire,” Bo Jones, spokesman for the Reedy Creek Fire Department, said in a statement. “The fire was contained to just the grass and did not get into the building or structure.”

Several reports were coming in around 10:30 this evening about a fire breaking out on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at the Magic Kingdom.  There are no reports of any injuries at this time.  It looks like this could be another case of Wishes fireworks downfall causing a fire.  Guests have been evacuated from the surrounding area and the area has been closed off since the incident.

This is not the first time an attraction inside New Fantasyland has caught fire.  Earlier this year, The Little Mermaid attraction also caught on fire as well.

We will keep you posted as we hear more.

A video of the fire can be seen here.
