Fresh Flavors, Gardens, Music and Fun on Tap March 4-May 17, 2015 at 22nd Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
Who says it is too early to be thinking about spring already? Walt Disney World has announced some of the events and details for the 22nd Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot.
Guests will be able to experience “Frozen” themed topiaries for the first time at the park featuring Anna and Elsa. This all new topiary will feature white and silver blooms of delphinium, alyssum and other floral varieties. Chip and Dale will be featured in an all-new topiary at the front entrance called “Goofy About Spring.”
Outdoor kitchens will be returning where guests can experience garden- and spring-inspired tapas-sized food and beverages. Be sure to get your Garden Passports stamped as you stroll around to the different areas in the World Showcase promenade.
A Southwest desert garden will also make its debut, showcasing an all-new thriving ecosystem.
The event will also debut ten all-new mini-gardens that will feature a new “health garden,” a pepper garden, a dinosaur-plant garden and a Shakespeare garden.
Be sure to stop by Tinker Bell’s Butterfly House and learn about the Monarch butterfly’s journey across the continent.
What is a festival at Epcot without a little music? Guests can rock out to favorite bands such as Gin Blossoms, Pablo Cruise, Village People and more.
Guests can also partake in several gardening seminars at the Festival Center where they can also pick up a 22nd Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival souvenir.
And when the sun goes down, illuminated topiary and play gardens will light up the night throughout the park.
