Merlin Entertainments Group Unveils Towering LEGO Model of Central Florida Expansion
Merlin Entertainments Group unveiled a new model today of the new Merlin attractions coming to the Orlando area, they include The Orlando Eye, Madame Tussaud Orlando and SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium.
The model built completely out of LEGO bricks stands 9-feet across and is nearly 8-feet tall. The model will be moved inside Legoland Florida’s Miniland section of the park as a new permanent display.
This is the first 3D visual representation of the complex,” said Head of Marketing for The Orlando Eye, Madame Tussauds Orlando and SEA LIFE Orlando Todd Andrus. “We are excited to unveil this expansive and comprehensive LEGO model as we move toward opening in spring 2015.”
Poised to be the new icon of International Drive in Orlando, the Orlando Eye will stand 400 feet tall and give its riders incredible views of the surround Orlando area. SEA LIFE Aquarium will offer guests a unique experience that will give closeup encounters with underwater creatures such as colorful fish, rays, sharks and other creatures in floor to ceiling displays, bubble tanks, touch pools and even a 360-degree underwater tunnel. Madame Tussauds Orlando will feature wax figures of some of your favorite stars from ilm, television, sports, history, pop culture and more.
