It’s that time of year again where the resorts throughout Walt Disney World showcase some amazing gingerbread creations.  From the Contemporary to the Grand Floridian, there is a unique gingerbread experience at each resort.

Over at the Contemporary Resort, guests can experience a “Frozen” gingerbread house featuring sugar, snowflakes, gingerbread shingles and chocolate-coated trees.  The gingerbread house also features your favorite Frozen characters including Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff.

Guests can even purchase build-your-own snowman marshmallow kits, plus classic gingerbread treats at the resort.

If you head on over to the BoardWalk Inn, guests can encounter a gingerbread house inspired by the Jersey Shore.  This culinary masterpiece features wreaths made of ice cream cones and Mickey and Minnie shaped gingerbread heads.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort guests will experience a life-size replica of a carousel in the lobby of the hotel.  This gingerbread recreation features gingerbread, chocolate, sugar paste and tons of enthusiasm.  If you pay close attention, you can even notice Hidden Mickey’s within the carousel.

Guests at the Disney’s Yacht Club Resort can experience a miniature New England-style train that races through sugary rock mountain surrounded by a candy-coated model village.

And last but not least, guests of the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa can experience an actual bake shop in the Grand Floridian Resort lobby.  Inside this gingerbread house made of classic Austrian gingerbread recipe, guests can purchase Stollen Bread, chocolate peppermint bark, truffles and miniature gingerbread houses.  Guests can even participate in demonstrations on how to decorate your own gingerbread house daily outside of the shop.
