The Skyplex in Orlando continues to grow as the developer has secured a new plot of land for parking. The Skyscraper at Skyplex once complete will house not only the worlds tallest roller coaster, but will also feature shopping, dining and entertainment venues.
With this will come the requirement for a lot of parking. This new area of land which is located on Canada Avenue near the Pirate Adventure Dinner show, will allow for a lot of parking spaces for buses, employees and shuttles providing transportation to and from the Skyplex.
“The acquisition of this parcel is an important piece of Skyplex,” Wallack said in an email to Orlando Business Journal. “Canada Avenue is a fabulous, underutilized artery that gives the complex outstanding [vehicle access] for the millions who will come through each year. This new parcel will provide parking for buses, shuttles and our employees. We feel very fortunate to get it.”
Skyscraper at Skyplex is scheduled to break ground soon with the grand opening scheduled for 2016.
