Kings Island is coming off an amazing year with the debut of Banshee in 2014.  What does the park have in store for 2015?  Well, something a bit more kid friendly along with many improvements throughout the park.

The park is introducing two new rides for the little ones inside Planet Snoopy, Woodstock Gliders and Snoopy’s Space Buggies.

Woodstock Gliders features eight two-person planes that glide 28 feet above the ground.  Guests can control their plane while inside allowing for a unique ride experience.  The ride is similar to Lake Erie Eagles at Cedar Point.

The other addition is called Snoopy’s Space Buggies.  This new attraction is from Zamperla and features six four-seat vehicles will bounce up and down while rotating in a circle.

The park also announced that the Starbucks inside the park is being relocated from its original location at the end of International Street to a new spot near the front gate and expanded to a much more accommodating 3,650 square feet.

The International Street Fudge and Candy Shop will be renamed Sweet Spot and will undergo an interior and exterior makeover.

The vacant area that was the old Starbucks location will be a new frozen yogurt location called Yogurt Plus.

The park is also receiving an expanded, Coca-Cola Marketplace with new Coke Freestyle machines, a Petting Farm and upgrades to the Picnic Grove area with remodeled bathrooms.
