Progress of the Shanghai Shanghai Disneyland Hotel

It was just yesterday that the word got out that Shanghai Disney Resort was going to be delayed until 2016, but that is not stopping Disney from sharing all-new images of its progress.

Disney released new photos of the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel, as well as one of Shanghai Disneyland’s E-ticket attractions, Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure, which will be located inside the Treasure Cove area of the park.


The ride will feature Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Davy Jones that is utilizing “new technology and innovation.”

The Shanghai Disneyland Hotel will feature 42o-rooms and will be the signature resort of the Shanghai Disney Resort area.  The resort will feature a Art Nouveau style with a Disney touch and will provide views of Shanghai Disneyland, Disneytown and the resorts central lake.


Toy Story Hotel progress

The Toy Story Hotel will feature 800 rooms and will most likely be the resorts cheaper, more family oriented option with its Toy Story theme throughout the hotel.

Shanghai Disneyland is scheduled to open in mid-2016.
