Over last weekend, United States Army veteran Federico Arce proposed to his wife, Diana, at Discovery Cove.  Federico popped the question with a little assistance from a Atlantic bottlenosed dolphin who carried a buoy that read “Will you do me the honor?”

Arce never had the opportunity to properly propose to his wife when they got engaged over 10 years ago, but with the help of Discovery Cove, he helped make it up to her in a big way.  Arce was deployed for more than eight years and served as an E-4 specialist in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was discharged for medical reasons and is now a veteran of the Wounded Warrior Project.

After the dolphin showed up with the buoy, Arce and his wife got out of the water and he got down on one knee and presented her the ring.

The couple was joined by their family as they celebrated this special occasion.  They also spent the day at SeaWorld Orlando.
