DRAGON INSTALLATION AT LEGOLAND FLORIDA RESORT

A new LEGO creation has arrived at LEGOLAND Florida to become a permanent resident at the all-new LEGOLAND Hotel scheduled to open in May.

The new creation is a dragon that is made up of more than 445,000 LEGO bricks and weighing approximately 2,800 pounds.

The new dragon was hoisted into his home atop the clock tower at the LEGOLAND Hotel as he prepares to greet the first guests at the hotel.

The hotel will feature LEGO models themed after each one of the room themes, such as a LEGO knight, a LEGO pirate and a LEGO adventurer.  More than 2,000 LEGO models will be featured throughout the LEGOLAND Hotel once it is complete, with at least eight models in each guest room.
