**UPDATE** Universal Orlando has lifted the bottled water ban that we had originally reported on and has reverted back to its original policy.

We reported earlier on our Facebook page that Universal Orlando was banning all liquids including bottled water, well the Orlando Sentinel has reached out to Universal Orlando and they mentioned that the ban is “the result of a review of our procedures and is not permanent.”

Universal Orlando’s normal procedure allows people to bring small snacks and bottled water into their parks.

Security guards are stopping people at the bag check asking them to discard all bottled liquids, including water resulting in longer than normal lines this morning at the bag check.

Bottled water is still available for purchase inside the park, this ban is just for people bringing bottled water from outside the park.

We will keep you posted if things change at the park, but for now, if you bring bottled water to the parks, leave it in the car or drink it before you get to bag check.

Be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook for the latest!
