The Skyplex complex continues to grow by the month it seems. The area started off with the announcement of the tallest roller coaster in the world, Skyscraper. And then Skyfall was announced, which will be the worlds tallest freefall attraction when it opens at Skyplex, standing 450 feet and reaching about 90 mph.
Now they have announced that the worlds largest Perkins restaurant will be joining the area as well. The Giant Perkins will be 10,000 square feet and will change the course of the Skyscraper roller coaster near the corner of I-Drive and Sand Lake Road.
The new giant Perkins will anchor the shopping area called SkyPlaza, which will also be home to more retailers.
“We are delighted to be part of this exhilarating and premier development project,” said Jeff Warne, CEO of Perkins. “We look forward to sharing details with the community and our guests as plans unfold.”
