Universal Studios Hollywood officially opened their version of Springfield and Fast Food Boulevard, just over a year after Universal Orlando opened their Fast Food Boulevard in 2013.  Both Springfield areas are located near The Simpsons Ride.

The new area at Universal Studios Hollywood features several restaurants and shops including:

  • Krusty Burger
  • Cletus’ Chicken Shack
  • Luigi’s Pizza
  • Bumblebee Man’s Taco Truck
  • Lard Lad Donuts
  • Phineas Q. Butterfat’s Ice Cream Parlor
  • Duff Brewery
  • Moe’s Tavern

After viewing several photos and reports online, it looks like Universal took Orlando’s Fast Food Boulevard and improved on it immensely.  The theming is much more details in the buildings and structures in the area and the attention to detail seems to incredible at the Hollywood version when compared to the Universal Studios Florida version.  Certainly seems like Universal learned from the Orlando version and made an already immersive environment even more immersive.  It’ll be interesting to see how the Hollywood version of Hogsmeade compares to the Orlando version once it opens.
