SeaWorld Orlando is showing once again that is the global leader in the rescue and rehabilitation of thousands of animals with the announcement that they have surpassed the 25,000 animal milestone.

The park also mentioned that 2015 was off to a challenging start with the rescue of those 19 manatees stuck in a storm drain and also returned dozens of sea turtles to the ocean, and saved hundreds of sea lions that are stranding on the California coast due to lack of food.  SeaWorld San Diego’s team has rescued more than 475 marine animals by themselves.

SeaWorld’s goal with every animal they rescue is to rehabiliate it and return it to the wild.  In the rare case that it cannot return to the wild, the animal is given lifelong care at SeaWorld or another accredited facility.
