Six Flags Magic Mountain is nearly finished with transforming the iconic wooden coaster Colossus into Twisted Colossus.

The coaster is receiving a makeover via the guys from Rocky Mountain Construction and will be even more twisted and insane than its previous version and will feature several new elements including a “Top Gun Stall” – an inversion where the train slows down upside down, and a “High Five” maneuver – where two trains pass through an overbanked turn facing each other with the illusion that you can reach out and “high five” other riders

The park announced earlier last week that at any given time up to 50 employees are working on the construction of the ride and will be completed in the coming weeks.

The ride will feature four trains, each with six cars, for a total of 24 people per train.  There will be different colors for each train also, orange, purple, blue and green.
