Disney announces new Star Wars goodies to celebrate May the 4th

Today is the national fan-celebrated holiday May the 4th.  Celebrating all things Star Wars, this holiday has been celebrated due to its spread over pop culture and social media and quickly became the official Star Wars holiday celebrating the term “May the Force be with you.”

Disney has announced some exclusive goodies you can get your hands on at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

 

Disney announced two new shirts, one for May the 4th and one for May 5th, which is also known as “Revenge of the Fifth,” referring to the film “Revenge of the Sith.” There will also be a matching pin available for purchase.  A water bottle with the artwork on it will be available only in Florida.  All of this is pictured above.

This is a new 9-inch Ewok plush named Teebo.  He will be available in both California and Florida on today, May the 4th.

There are also two new MagicBand’s to get excited about, one featuring Luke Skywalker and the other one a Stormtrooper.  They retail for $24.95 and have the capability to be “linked later” to give them as a gift because they will be open edition.  These are obviously only available at Walt Disney World.

There is also a new set of Star Wars themed headphones from SMS Audio.  This is the second line of Star Wars headphones the company has produced and feature designs themed after a Tie Fighter, Chewbacca, R2-D2 and Darth Vader.  These will only be available in  Tatooine Traders in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Disney also announced a special Father’s Day shirt featuring Darth Vader and his famous “I am your Father” quote, but with a twist.  This shirt will be sold May 4-10 at DisneyStore.com/ParkEvents.
