In some rather interesting news this week, Disneyland has purchased the Carousel Inn which is located directly across the street from Disneyland.

Disney purchased the hotel for $32 million according to local media and a Disney spokesperson.

Located just off of Harbor Boulevard, the hotel features a  a rooftop pool and guest rooms ranging from 300 to 700 square feet.

The hotel will continue to operate under its current management and Disney mentioned that they have no further plans for the hotel as this time.

Disney currently has three other hotels on property at Disneyland, the Disneyland Hotel, the Grand Californian and the Paradise Pier Hotel.  Disneyland will not add the Carousel Inn to its list of official hotels, rather it will act as the “landlord” for the Inn.
