While it looks like we may not get a complete makeover of the Jurassic Park section at Islands of Adventure, we may still get something related to the new Jurassic World movie coming out next month.

The annual passholder newsletter had an interesting tidbit of information in it regarding a new meet and greet coming to the Jurassic Park section.

There has been lots of commotion going on over at the old site of the Triceratops Encounter in the Jurassic Park section of the park, with construction walls up and lots of other work going on.

This is supposedly the new site for the new meet and greet with a Velociraptor.

What will it consist of?  No one knows for sure.  I’ve heard several rumors of sophisticated raptor puppets meeting guests instead of an animatronic like Donkey at the Shrek meet and greet.  Think of the Transformers meet and greet over at Universal Studios, but with dinosaurs.  It could possibly be themed after the new movie that has several holding pins for raptors, which can be seen above in a screen shot of one of the trailers for the movie.  The raptors also have muzzles on them in the movie, as seen above.

Whatever the case, it looks like we will find out in June what exactly this new meet and greet will consist of.  One thing is for sure, it will contain dinosaurs.
