Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion, two great parks located in the state of Virginia have announced a special partnership that will allow guests to purchase a combination ticket to both parks at a great price.

The campaign is called the “Virgina’s Gateway to Family Thrills,” and will feature two ticket options.

The The Virginia Thrills Ticket costs $106 and includes admission to both Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Kings Dominion (and Soak City.)  The ticket must be used within seven days of purchasing.  That is a savings of $34.

The Virginia Thrills Ticket Plus costs $135 and adds both parks waterpark option.  You get two single-day admission tickets to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA and two single-day admission tickets to Kings Dominion (Soak City included). That is a savings of $121.

“This partnership highlights the friendly competition between Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion, and brings our resources together to create a much larger voice in the crowded market,” Busch Gardens marketing vice president Dan Dipiazzo said. “Why drive a thousand or more miles for a vacation when we have Orlando-quality attractions right here in Virginia.”

The partnership between Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion will also feature several new televised ad campaigns.

Both Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens are celebrating 40th anniversaries this year.
