The all-new Harambe Market is scheduled to open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom later this month.

This new area at Animal Kingdom is themed around a Colonial-era train depot and will feature unique food and drink options and a new sitting area with 200+ seats for guests to sit down and enjoy the sites and sounds of Harambe.

Each market inside the new Harambe Market will feature several food and drink options to choose from.

The “Kitamu Grill” will feature skewered chicken and a kabob flatbread sandwich.  There will even be a unique spin on a corn dog featuring a South African sausage called a boerewors, which is then dipped in  curry-infused corn batter.

There will be another window called Wanjohi Refreshments, which will feature specialty drinks including six South African wines by the glass, a non-alcoholic tangerine lemonade and even a drink called The Starr of Harambe, which is described as “a frozen drink with Starr African rum with mango puree in a souvenir mug.”

The new Harambe Market will also feature souvenir shops and when added in with the new Harambe Theater, home to the show Festival of The Lion King, it will double the size of the original Harambe Village.
