New ice show to debut at Busch Gardens Willamsburg Christmas Town

World-champion and two-time Olympic silver medalist Elvis Stojko will headline a new holiday-themed ice show at this year’s Busch Gardens Christmas Town. ‘Twas That Night is an all-new live performance on ice being created by the same creative team that produced London Rocks and Scrooge No More!.

‘Twas That Night is based on the popular poem A Visit From St. Nicholas, published in 1823 by Clement Moore, and will be performed at Busch Gardens’ Royal Palace Theatre starting Nov. 27. Busch Gardens’ entertainment team will transform the theater’s stage into a glistening frozen pond, creating a nostalgic sense of wonderment during the retelling of this popular Christmas classic.

“Busch Gardens’ newest live show combines the grace of professional figure skating with cherished Christmas music, original holiday songs and magnificent visuals,” said Entertainment Director Bonnie Gilliland. “Elvis Stojko’s masterful skating techniques and his unbounded creativity are helping us produce an emotionally-charged show that is unlike anything else in our lineup.”

Busch Gardens Christmas Town begins Nov. 27, and for the first time the event will extend into January, with Jan. 1-3 added to the operating schedule.

Active Busch Gardens pass members can get the best deal of the season starting July 1 by purchasing a Christmas Town Pass online for $25, a $10 savings off the general admission price to Christmas Town. The Christmas Town Pass allows unlimited admission to Christmas Town during regular operating days from Nov. 27 through Jan. 3. Active pass members also receive their regular membership benefits like free parking and discounts on in-park dining and merchandise. The price of the pass increases to $30 on Aug. 1.

“This offer is the best deal of the season for pass members,” said Vice President of Marketing Dan Dipiazzo. “The Christmas Town Pass is a great reason to consider becoming a pass member as the pass offers a significant discount over the regular Christmas Town admission price.”

Guests can visit for complete details on purchasing the Christmas Town Pass.

Guests who do not have an active pass also have Christmas Town ticket choices.

A Christmas Town Fun Card costs $35 and also provides unlimited admission to Busch Gardens Christmas Town from Nov. 27 through Jan. 3. Unlike the Christmas Town Pass, which is exclusively for Busch Gardens’ annual pass members, the Christmas Town Fun Card does not include membership benefits like free parking and in-park discounts.
