Skyplex Orlando continues to add new attractions with the latest announcement today

Skyplex Orlando continues to announce new additions to its already sprawling complex.

The complex announced today that a surf complex that will be atop the complex’s 10-story parking complex facing the gigantic Skyscraper roller coaster.  The new complex will feature three pools.  Joshua Wallack, managing principal of Skyplex said that surfing would be open to everyone and would be open daily.

“There’s going to be a bar up there. It’s a whole beach scene,” Joshuaw said. “We anticipate having a lot of locals that have annual passes and memberships to it.”

The area already includes the Polercoaster, drop tower attraction, a zip line, a hotel, retail space and the world’s largest Perkins restaurant.

Joshua also goes on to mention that the forecasted opening date has been pushed back to 2017 as planning and pre-construction continues.
