Kentucky Kingdom just unveiled Storm Chaser, their latest addition coming to the park in 2016.

Storm Chaser will be built by Rocky Mountain Construction and will feature their famous iBox track, which is found on several coasters throughout Six Flags parks, including the latest, Twisted Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Storm Chaser will stand 100 feet tall and will be the first coaster in America to feature a barrel roll drop from a 10-story lift hill.  Other elements include a stall dive, tip-out corner, airtime hills, a twisted airtime drop and a corkscrew.

“We are thrilled to have been selected for this project and to help introduce our special brand of coaster design to Kentucky. Storm Chaser will be one of the most exciting coasters we’ve ever built!” – Fred Grubb, co-founder and “chief innovator” of RMC

Storm Chaser will replace Twisted Twins at the park.
