There has been a lot of talk and speculation in regards to The Incredible Hulk Coaster closing down for a lengthy refurbishment soon.

Today, Universal Orlando confirmed the closure via their blog and announced that the coaster will be closing on September 8th for “major enhancements and refurbishment work.”

What will this refurbishment entitle?  Universal said more details will be released at a later time but there has been much talk as to what it will include.  These items include new trains with on-board audio and other enhancements, enhancements to the launch tunnel and major work to the track throughout the ride.  There is also talk that the refurbishment will tie the ride into the “Avengers” movie somehow.

We are extremely excited to see Universal Orlando giving Hulk the TLC that it needs and can’t wait to see the finished product next summer!
