As if there was not enough construction going on at Universal Orlando already, the resort just announced that they are adding an additional 400 rooms in the form of two new towers to their newest resort, Cabana Bay Beach Resort.

Cabana Bay Beach Resort opened back in early 2014 in two phases.  The first phase opened on March 31, 2014 and then the entire resort opened on June 20.  The initial resort features 900 suite style rooms that sleep 6 and 900 traditional style rooms that sleep 4. This new expansion will bring the total room number at Cabana Bay to 2,200, making it the largest hotel on Universal property.

These two new towers will be located at the south end of the resort providing excellent views of the currently under construction Volcano Bay waterpark.
