The Morimoto Asia resturaunt at Downtown Disney will be officially opening its doors on September 30.
The resturaunt will be chef Morimoto’s first pan-Asian restaurant and will feature waterside seating, terraces, a grand hall and a cocktail lounge.
Some of the items on the menu include moo shu pork, Peking duck, lobster chow fun, sweet and sour crispy whole fish and kung pao chicken. A weekend brunch menu will also be available featuring such items as a Chinese dish of small steamed or fried savory dumplings containing various fillings. For the kids, chicken ramen, kakuni pork bao and karaage fried chicken will be available.
“I’m very excited to bring this new concept to Disney, something I’ve always dreamed of,” said Chef Morimoto. “It’s a wonderful chance to share some of my favorite foods from across the Asian continent.”
Morimoto Asia will be located in The Landing section of Disney Springs, formerlly known as Pleasure Island.
